Bridging the gap between mission-critical internet infrastructure and robust corporate governance across the Asia-Pacific.
See the ApproachOver 30 years of building national broadband networks and leading regional internet exchanges, I have witnessed a recurring failure: organizations treat technology transitions as operational problems when they are actually governance challenges.
I founded the Internet Engineering & Infrastructure Strategic Initiative (IEISI) because mission-critical digital infrastructure—from routing security to enterprise AI—requires ethical stewardship and rigorous operational discipline.
My mission is to empower member-owned organizations, mutuals, and established enterprises to scale securely, navigate digital disruption, and build sustainable internal capacity. I do not believe in creating permanent consulting dependencies. I believe in independent, objective governance that protects organizations, aligns technology with strategic purpose, and serves the broader ecosystem.
The traditional consulting model relies on embedding permanent dependencies. This works the opposite way: diagnose the root cause, establish the governance framework, upskill your internal team, then exit. Your independence is the success metric.
Sustainable technology requires rigorous operational discipline, not just bold announcements. Objective, independent oversight resolves complex technical challenges by neutralizing internal politics through evidence-based decision-making.
Technology does not exist in a vacuum. Decades of consensus-building in the Asia-Pacific internet community keep technical strategy tied to your regulators, your members, and the communities you serve. That work has reached all 56 APNIC economies, 21 of them in person.

Why Operational Governance Must Come Before the Technology Bet. A strategic framework for boards and executives on navigating the pricing risks and operational realities of enterprise AI.
Its Small Bets Discipline is the board discipline for AI investment: build AI capability incrementally, and treat reversibility as a strategic asset. Five principles, and 5 key questions to ask: Verify Causation (prove AI caused the gain, not the process fix); Price the Dependency Risk (stress-test the business case against API repricing); Prefer Reversibility (small, focused AI bets that can be unwound). The advice is Independent: no AI vendor or cloud-provider ties. Read the paper.
